James

James grew up in San Marino, a charming community in Los Angeles. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from UC Berkeley before pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at UC Irvine. It was during his time at UCI that he met Dr. Linh Tsai, his future partner both in life and work.

As their family began to grow, James and Dr. Tsai decided to collaborate professionally to better balance their personal and professional lives. To achieve this, James obtained his Dental Hygiene license, a natural progression given his scientific background and dedication to health care. Today, he serves as the lead Dental Hygienist for their team, contributing expertise, care, and a collaborative spirit to their practice.

James's journey reflects his adaptability and commitment to both his family and his profession.

Shaina

I have been a part of the wonderful CarlsbaDDS Pediatric Smiles team since 2018. I am passionate about making sure our patients receive the best service and attention from our front office and making sure they have the best experience here.

I love our fun and friendly atmosphere and love being with my work family! I have called California home for most of my life and love it here! On my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, traveling and going on adventures with my two children, Oliver and Evelyn.

Katie

I have been working in the field of dentistry for the past 7 years and I have obtained my RDA license. Recently, I completed a Master's degree in Public Health, which has given me the ability to passionately advocate for optimal oral health and patient comfort.

When I am not working in dental care, I enjoy spending my time lifting weights and taking walks with my loyal companion, Toby, a Great Pyrenees. Joining the esteemed team at CDDSPS has been a true blessing for me. It has given me the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible patient experience.

Myra

I been working at CDDSPS since 2011! Everyday seems like day 01. The passion I have in carrying out my best work for our amazing families is what makes me happy. I love it when I am able to gain the trust of my apprehensive patients and their parents.

I enjoy connecting with our parents and building relationships over the years. In my spare time I enjoy spending it with my family, going hiking, and watching the sunset.

Tiffany

I joined CDDSPS in 2022. I am a Registered Dental Assistant and Marketing Chief for the office. I am passionate about getting to know the kiddos and helping their smiles.

When I am not in the office, I am spending my time with my loved ones and taking my Pomeranian named Halo out on hikes. I have a wonderful time working with the team and bringing your little ones an educational and fun-filled experience.

Samantha

I was born and raised in Oceanside, California. I went to Palomar College and completed the RDA program. During my free time, I enjoy baking, drawing, and working out!

I'm excited to be working with amazing staff members to help patients at ease at their visits and teach them the importance to taking care of their oral hygiene! Thankful for Dr. Tsai & the team for this opportunity.

My name is Chez, and I'm a dental hygienist from San Francisco, CA. I enjoy making dental visits fun and stress-free for kids and their families, and I value building a strong foundation of trust with every dental visit. It is my pleasure to teach healthy habits that last a lifetime!

Outside the office, I love spending time with my husband and our baby boy. Together, we enjoy exploring new hobbies—whether it's tennis, marathon training, photography, or our latest adventure, surfing! I'm so grateful to serve this community and to be part of this wonderful team of professionals.

Michelle

I feel truly blessed to work with such a loving, caring, and professional team since 2016. Cleaning children's teeth and chatting with them about the importance of good dental hygiene is very rewarding. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring photography, fashion, and anything art related; like going to the theater.

I have two active, sweet and athletic boys, so you will always find me busy doing all things outdoor. Whenever I can, I look forward to visiting my family and friends in Taiwan and eating all my favorite dishes there.

Jazmin

Born and raised in San Diego, I am a RDA graduate from Palomar College and I am very excited to start working in the dental field! I have been working with kids for 6 years now and it has been such a memorable and honorable experience. In my free time, I like to go on hikes, play video games and spend time with my family and friends. I am eager to start working with Dr. Tsai and her amazing staff and meet all the wonderful families along the way.

Aracelly

I was born and raised in Peru, lived in New York for eight years (which I still consider home since my family is there), and I've been in California for the past five years. I've worked in a dental front office for almost four years and enjoy helping people every day. I love going to the beach whenever I can.

Veronica

I grew up in Fallbrook and it made me appreciate the country living more than I thought it would in my adult life. A slow paced life surrounded by friends and family makes my heart happy. This has transitioned into seeing how much parents care for their children. I understand how precious they are in your lives and hope that I can make their dental visit just as special.

Jaden

My journey working with children began as an after-school teacher for TK, Kindergarten, and First Grade students in San Marcos CA. Through that experience, I developed a passion for helping kids learn, grow, and feel supported. I later graduated from Palomar Colleges RDA program and now bring those same skills into the dental field, where I get to create positive experiences for patients and their families. I look forward to continuing to work with the team and making a meaningful impact on both the patients and the office.
